BREAKING: Two-sport star Trey'Dez Green commits to LSU
Louisiana's top tight end and power forward for the class of 2024 has announced his commitment to LSU.
Trey'Dez Green of Jackson (La.) East Feliciana will stay home and play for LSU over scholarship offers from Tennessee, Texas A&M, Miami and Alabama.
He announced his decision in front of a packed gym at East Feliciana.
He will be given the opportunity to play both football and basketball at LSU. He has had offers from LSU to play both sports since 2021.
At 6-foot-7 and 230-pounds, Green is a consensus high four-star football prospect nationally and one of the nation’s top-3 tight ends.
“When they throw the ball up, I just pretend it’s a rebound or something,” Green said.
As a junior, Green totaled 864 receiving yards with 14 receiving touchdowns. With his commitment LSU now has 14 commitments for the class of 2024. He also gives the Tigers their second tight end in the class joining Tayvion Galloway.
